FOREIGN ENVOYS BUSY IN POLITICAL MEETINGS

Kathmandu, 31 Aug.: Indian Ambassador Jayant Prasad, who held discussions with Maoist Chairman Prachanda Wednesday, later held discussions with Speaker Subash Nemwang.
They discussed constitution and completion of delayed peace process.
US Ambassador Scott H.DeLisi discussed current issues with NC parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Paudel.
Dr. Baburam Bhattarai defeated
Paudel in parliamentary elections for parliament.

CHAIRMAN OF CPN(ML-Socialist) EXPELLED FROM PARTY

Kathmandu, 31 Aug.: The CPN (ML-Socialist) has expelled Chairman Jagat Bahadur Bogati from all responsibilities of the party, RSS reports.
The central committee meeting of the party held on August 3 took such decision unanimously, said the party leaders in a news conference in the capital on Wednesday. Bishnu Raj Aryal, who was the general secretary earlier, has been appointed the chairman of the party effective from the same day.
Newly appointed party chairman Aryal said lawmakers Yadu Bansa Jha and Tilak Bahadur Thapa Magar will also be relieved of the post.
