ONE INJURED IN BOMB BLAST DEAD

ONE OF 28 INJURED IN BUTWAL MINIBUS BOMB BLAST DEAD

Kathmandu, 28 March: One of 28 injured Sunday in a mini-bus bomb blast died while being rushed to the capital for treatment.
The identity of the deed hasn’t been identified although he’s believed to be in his
early 30’s.
Six of the 28 have been rushed to the capital for treatment while two are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chitwan
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the latest bomb blast in the terai.
One passenger has been killed and 43 others have been injured in three bomb
blasts in three moving buses in Rautahat, Banke and Rupendhaehi.
Armed terai group claimed responsibility for attacks inside buses in Rautahat and Banke.

TERAI VIOLENCE UNSURGE AFTER REBELS MEET IN PATNA, BIHAR

Kathmandu, 28 March: A secret meeting started Friday in Patna, Bihar, between Madesh parliamentary parties and terai rebel groups, Tarun reports.
According to a news source Akhil Terai Mukti Morcha, Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha, Rajab Mukti Samuham, Madesh Mukti Tigers, Terai Cobra, Terai Army, Control of Terai and other armed rebel groups are attending the meeting.
MJFD,TMLP,MSP (Mahoto) and other parliamentary parties are attending.
The meeting is being held to make the movement on the terai from 115 Baishak [ midd-April] successful. This was agreed during a meeting of MJFD Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar, TMLP Chairman MahantaThakur and NSP Chairman Rajendra
Mahoto in New Delhi with the rebel group leaders recently.
The Terai parliamentary parties and the rebel groups have decided to make the coming successful like the movement after signing a 12-point New Delhi accord between seven parliamentary parties and Maoists five years ago.

INDUSTRIAL USREST SPREADS TO BIRGUNJ

Kathmandu, 28 March: Industries on the Birjung-Pahthlaiya industrial corridor
was closed down Monday by two trade unions- a Maoist union close to the Baidya
group and a trade union affiliated with terai parties.
The two unions rejected an agreement between management and three trade unions affiliated with UCPN (Maoist), NC and UML for a no strike in industries for four years with increased salary.
The agreement last week was a sellout, the two trade unions protesting the deal

They immediately closed down hundreds of industries on the Morang, Sunsari
industrial corridor.
