Election for PM delayed (DEVELOPING STORY)

Kathmandu, 23 July: Election for prime minister to replace caretaker Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal hasn’t begun even 90 minutes after scheduled time.
The session of the 599-member legislature was to begin at one in the afternoon.

MJFN of Upendra Yadav has come out in support of Maoists—opposed by MJFL and TMLP- whose leaders split from Nepali Congress.

It will be difficult for Maoists to meet demands.
The front wants written commitment from leaders and parties to their demands.
