US Ambassador DeLisi arrives
Kathmandu. 15 April: Scott H. DeLisi, the new U.S. Ambassador, arrived in Kathmandu Thursday. US embassy said.
“I am very happy to be here. I look forward to building on the long-standing friendship between our two countries and strengthening the bonds of goodwill between our two peoples,” he said in an arrival statement
Ambassador DeLisi is scheduled to present his credentials Sunday.
He succeeds Nancy J. Powell, who was promoted in the State Department.
