10,934 Bhutanese refugees resettled in USA

Kathmandu, 23 April: Altogether 10,934 Bhutanese refugees from Nepal have been resettled in USA in a programme launched two years ago, UN said.
The scheme continues.
Altogether 12,338 refugees have so been resettled from camps in east Nepal.
Another 675 refugees have gone to Australia, 220 to New Zealand, 161 to Denmark, 148 to Canada and 91 to the Netherlands.

Foreign minister Yadav leaving for Cuba

Kathmandu, 23 April: Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav leaves for Cuba Saturday to attend a conference of foreign ministers of non-aligned countries.
Yadav will also visit Belgium, Canada and Norway.
He is attending an UN conference on climate change in Norway.
